Which Version are you running?
So that you can make sense of the changes listed below, you should be aware of the version of the Eurolink software you are using. In Eurolink, look at the title at the top of the screen. If it says "(FPW Version)", you are running the 16-bit version. If it says "(VFP Version)" you are running the new 32-bit version. The "FPW" and "VFP" refer to the version of "Microsoft FoxPro" used to develop the Eurolink softwarre.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
FROM VERSION 200410 (SP 002) (VFP VERSION) ONWARDS THE SCREENS AND MENUS ARE DESIGNED FOR A DISPLAY WITH A MINIMUM RESOLUTION OF 1024 x 768 PIXELS. PLEASE REVIEW YOUR DESKTOP DISPLAY SETTINGS TO ENSURE YOUR DISPLAY IS COMPATIBLE. IF NOT, YOU SHOULD NOT INSTALL AN UPGRADE OR PATCH UNTIL YOUR DISPLAY SETTINGS HAVE BEEN CHANGED. Changes
Version 200410 is a consolidation of all previous patches to Version 200404 (SP3). In addition:
Corrected a Matching problem if all address titles were the same.
Increased the field holding the path for photos to 100 characters.
Corrected a problem pasting from applicants to new tenants which wasn't picking up previous addresses.
Added a new marketing facility for storing property Room Details. These also get uploaded as part of the standard Eurolink format web-upload.
Added a new field for the tenant e-mail address (T_EMADDR)
Added extra photo processing to reduce the size of marketing reports.
Ensure cheque clearance days are taken into account when paying invoices on "Initial Tenant Monies".
Added new processing to allow the export of reports to PDF, Word, or Excel. Does not now need a special EuroDocs printer driver (32-bit Only). This allows ANY reports to be opened in Word or Excel as well as Acrobat Reader. EuroDocs processing is now faster as the EuroDocs printer does not need to be selected.
Changes in Service Pack 001/002
To confirm the changes to EuroDocs (above) - all users of the 32-bit version can now use EuroDocs without having to purchase a separate license of the EuroDocs PDF printer driver.
In supplier details the discount field now allows for 2 decimal places.
A separate "Discounts" landlord can now be set up for each bank account.
Works Orders can now be recorded against a Tenant. The value of any outstanding tenant works orders is now shown on the Tenant Balance Check screen.
Discounts are now correctly calculated when posting invoices from the "Batch Invoices" routine.
On the Estate Management system, up to 5 separate Reserve Funds can each be associated with a separate bank account. Details of monies held in each reserve fund are now shown on the Estate Balance Check screen.
The VAT on the Initial Landlord Monies screen now defaults to STANDARD.
When printing Estate Financial Reports, each report can now be printed to a separate printer. This will allow individual pages of a long report to be printed separately.
Ground Rent demands can now be printed in the format prescribed by the "Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002". The exact format can be tailored from the System Preferences screen. To print demands in the new format you must untick "Include Outstanding Items" and print "Estate Only" demands.
Corrected a problem where the wrong surplus/deficit figure was being transferred from the Financial Report to the Balance Sheet Report where multiple schedules were used.
When e-mailing a standard report, the "To" box now remains blank. Previously, a wrong e-mail address could be picked up under certain circumstances.
The main menu now includes a link to the new "Eurolink Online" marketing system. (32-bit only)
The main menu has been re-designed in 1024x768 pixel format, and now has a uniform look to keep it in line with the look of "Eurolink Online". In the future, the "Eurolink Lettings and Management System" will become further linked to the "Eurolink Online" system and eventually provide a fully unified system. (32-bit only).
